Candela Marini

Candela Marini is a cultural historian with a focus on nineteenth-century visual culture. She holds a PhD in Romance Studies from Duke University. She was an International Fellow at KWI in the Summer 2023 and during this fellowship worked on her book project “Images at the Front: War Photography and Visual Literacy in Argentina and Chile (1860s–1880s).”. She is currently assistant professor in the Humanities, Social Science, and Communication Department at MSOE.
